Because of this some clients find they want to add a session here or there. I don’t want people to feel rush, but I do want to have focus and clarity in our sessions. I leave that to your discretion, as I want to make sure you walk away with what you need to land your next role.

Packages

Each package is customized to meet the needs of the client. This is the framework I use to get clients started and then we follow your unique roadmap.

Base Package: Job Definition and Resume Update

This package includes 3 one hour coaching sessions, and a current resume review. You will have 6 months to complete your 3 sessions, thought most finish within 2 - 3 months.

Who is it for?

Clients who:

• have a pretty clear idea of what they want to do next
• have a well definite career path
• have limited work experience

What to Expect

Typically in your first session, we'll start by examining your current role, what you enjoy, and what you're seeking. From there, we'll identify career options that meet your needs. You will have homework to complete before the next session, focusing on exploring job options. Most of my clients like to meet every week or every other week to keep the momentum.

By the second session we will be assessing your current state, including your resume, experience, education, and network. We will determine what types of roles would suit you and start looking to close the gaps between your current job and your desired one. Your homework is to do what every work is necessary for updating your resume.

During the third session we will go over your updated resume, discuss what your next steps are to apply and interview. Some clients determine at this point they would like more help and more sessions, others are set and ready to apply for jobs and interview.

You will leave with clarity about what types of jobs, and what types of companies to apply to as well as an update resume in document and pdf form.

Standard Package: Job Definition, Resume Update, LinkedIn Review, and Interview Preparation

This package includes 5 one hour coaching sessions, a rewrite of your resume, LinkedIn Profile review and interview preparation. I recommend we save one session for after an interview so we can review one of your interviews and adjust our strategy if necessary. You will have 9 months to complete your 5 sessions, with an average duration of 2-4 months.

Who is it for?

This is my most common package. Clients who:

• have 5 -12 years job experience
• are looking for a career change to a similar or related field
• want to move “up a level” in their career
• haven’t updated their resume or written one in 3+ years

What to Expect

Similar to the base package, we will spend the first few sessions exploring your options and looking at your current state. Together we will come up with some scenarios for potential jobs for you to look into for homework. We will spend some time each session refining your resume.

By session three, you should have a good idea of what jobs to apply to, and at the end of session 3, you should have your new resume in hand or be very close. We also begin to look at LinkedIn updates.

By session four, you will minimally start to apply to positions, and we will focus on tying up loose ends and discussing any refinements we need to our strategy. We tend to focus on interview preparation, focusing on anything you need help with and /or responses to technical and behavioral interview questions..

For session 5, I tend to save that until after you have had one interview, so we can review how that interview session went. Some clients find they need more time with some of the above steps and may need one more session to get it all done. I have been known to refund someone a session fee when they landed a job offer on their first interview.

Premium Package:

This package includes 6-8 one-hour coaching sessions that can be split into hour or half-hour sessions. We will update and optimize your resume and LinkedIn Profile. We will do interview preparation focused on your next upcoming interview. The depth of focus and research is much deeper, and we end up with more contact hours. We often have a multi-pronged approach to sourcing the role and prep work associated with preparing your resume and LinkedIn profile. We will add network contacts and recruiters where appropriate.

You will have 12 months to complete your sessions. Average duration varies because this is the most customized coaching, anywhere from 3 to 6 months is common.

Who is it for?

This is my second most common package. Clients who:

• have years of job experience that needs to be a coherent story
• Want a high touch experience, have a lot to discuss around interview prep or resume writing
• have a very diverse or non traditional background
• want to completely change careers
• want a change but not sure what change to make
• are looking for a specific career from a specific list employers
• need longer term support due to the difficulty or length of the interview process

What to Expect

As in the previous two packages, we will start with an in-depth look at your history and experiences. For the first 2-3 sessions, we will determine what is missing from your resume to land the position you would like and explore different options for providing that experience. We will discuss your values and how they can align with a company's values to make sure your next role is a good fit.

During sessions 2 and 3, we will be outlining your resume and building your persona that you will use during interviews to tell the complete story of who you are. Additionally, your homework will be to gain any necessary experiences and "try on" different roles to see if you think they would be a good fit.

By sessions 4 and 5, you will be applying what we learned, have an updated LinkedIn profile, start going to networking events as necessary, and target jobs while potentially choosing recruiters to connect with. Again, which steps we take will be a direct reflection of the plan we have built.

Sessions (or mini-sessions, as we typically move to) will focus on individual interview preparation and resume updates for specific events. We'll update your resume if you complete any certification courses or other work deemed necessary to advance your opportunities for roles. If you end up landing your dream role before we complete your sessions, we will discuss what I can refund you depending on the time you have left.
